Melissa Burgos, 23, is a proud Dominican woman from New Jersey whose journey beautifully intertwines faith, service, and passion for empowering others. With a proven record of excellence in pageantry, Melissa has earned titles including Miss Herencia Dominicana 1st Runner-Up 2023 and USOA Miss New Jersey 2nd Runner-Up, honors that reflect her commitment to representing her heritage while inspiring women to embrace their strength and culture with pride.

Her runway experience spans three years at NJ Moda Week, where she discovered how modeling can be a celebration of beauty, artistry, and confidence. Beyond the stage, Melissa’s heart for service shines through. She has organized winter coat drives to support the homeless and is a dedicated mental health advocate, using her own journey with anxiety to uplift others and encourage open conversations around healing and resilience.

Currently pursuing her cosmetology license, Melissa aspires to help others feel beautiful both inside and out. Her work blends artistry with empowerment, proving that true beauty begins with confidence, kindness, and inner strength.
